Loughborough is a busy market town in Charnwood, renowned for it's University.

The Carillon shopping centre and The Rushes shopping centre, both in the town centre, feature a range of different shops and eateries. There are also lots of restaurants, pubs, takeaways and cafes throughout the town. The Leisure Centre boasts a pool, gym, courts and soft play, while there are other gyms to choose from in and around the town centre. Loughborough town hall always has a lot showing, catering for all tastes. There are lots of parks, woods and walks within Loughborough, and on the outskirts, such as the Queens Park, the Canal footpath and the Outwoods.

Transport Links

The A6 runs through the town connecting Loughborough to Hathern and Quorn, and providing a route to Derby or Leicester. Junction 23 of the M1 is found to the edge of Loughborough.

There are plenty of Kinch and Arriva buses which connect the town centre to all areas of Loughborough including the University and train station.

Loughborough train station offers services to all key destinations, including fast trains to Leicester and London.
